How to Join NovaVoid

NovaVoid is fully crossplay and needs no mods — a vanilla client on any device gets you in, and you'll spawn as a fully animated 3D cat. Same world, same nations, same cat on every platform.

Java novavoid.netBedrock mc.novavoid.net : 19132

Java Edition (PC)

  1. Open Minecraft and click MultiplayerAdd Server.
  2. Server address: novavoid.net
  3. Join, and click Yes when prompted to download the server resource pack — it's what makes the custom 3D cats, items, and menus visible.

Bedrock Edition (Windows, iOS, Android)

  1. Open PlayServers tab → Add Server.
  2. Server address: mc.novavoid.net · Port: 19132
  3. Before connecting, make sure Server Resource Packs is set to Enabled on the server entry.

Consoles (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch)

Consoles run Bedrock Edition and join the exact same world — through the Friends tab:

  1. In Minecraft, go to PlayFriendsAdd Friend and search for catcivmc. Send the friend request.
  2. You'll be friended back automatically — accept the request if one appears on your side.
  3. Back on the Friends tab, a joinable NovaVoid world now shows up under friends' worlds. Select it and you're in — as a cat.

Consoles whose version offers Add External Server can also join directly with mc.novavoid.net, port 19132. Stuck on either path? Our Discord has a walkthrough.

If something looks broken

Cats invisible, textures weird, or menus showing placeholder boxes? That's the resource pack not being applied. Enable server resource packs (Bedrock) or accept the pack prompt (Java) and rejoin — that fixes it. Camera sitting oddly? Use /catcam on Bedrock or /catview on Java.

Your first hour

  1. Find a spot you like and claim it with a golden shovel (right-click two opposite corners).
  2. Save a home there with /sethome.
  3. Grab your /daily reward.
  4. Work through /objectives and /skills to level up.
  5. Pick your cat in /cats.

The full walkthrough lives on the wiki: Getting Started. And one heads-up: water and wolves aren't your friends.

Join FAQ

What is the NovaVoid server IP?

Java: novavoid.net · Bedrock (Windows, mobile, consoles): mc.novavoid.net, port 19132. Both lead to the same Cat Civilization world.

Is there a Minecraft server where you play as a cat?

Yes — this one. Every player on NovaVoid is a fully animated 3D cat, rendered server-side, so it works with a vanilla client on every platform.

Do I need mods?

No. Vanilla client + the server resource pack (you'll be prompted) is everything.

Can I play on Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch?

Yes — consoles run Bedrock. Add catcivmc as a friend in Minecraft (Play → Friends → Add Friend), and a joinable NovaVoid world appears in your Friends tab. Consoles with the Add External Server option can also connect via mc.novavoid.net, port 19132.

Is it free?

Yes. NovaVoid is free to play; the store is cosmetic-only.
